1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Quebra-Cabeça ("we", "our" or "the app") collects, uses and shares information when you use our mobile application.

By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the app.

2. Data Collected

We do not collect personally identifiable information. The app does not require registration, login, email address or any personal information to function.

The only information stored locally on your device is:

• Game progress (completed puzzles, coins, achievements)
• User preferences (language, theme, sound, vibration)
• Game statistics (play time, moves, streaks)
• Daily puzzle completion status

This data is stored exclusively in your device's internal storage (SharedPreferences and FlutterSecureStorage) and is never transmitted to our servers. All data is removed when you uninstall the app.

3. Ads (Google AdMob)

This app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, Google's advertising service. AdMob may collect and use certain information to display both personalized and non-personalized ads, including:

• Android Advertising ID (AAID)
• IP address
• Device type, model and operating system version
• App usage data and interaction with ads
• General location (not precise GPS)

AdMob's collection and use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more about how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Consent: For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, this app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK — a Google-certified Consent Management Platform — to present a consent dialog on first launch. You will be asked to choose between personalized and non-personalized ads before ads are shown.

Opt out of personalized ads: You can disable personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization. You may also reset your Advertising ID from the same screen.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — advertisement display. Data collected by AdMob is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Device Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

• Internet — required to load advertisements and enable backup features.
• Notifications (Android 13+) — optional, used only for daily puzzle reminders and streak-at-risk alerts. You can enable or disable this at any time in the app's settings or your device's system settings.
• Vibrate — used for haptic feedback when interacting with puzzle pieces and notifications.
• Run at startup — used by the background task manager to reschedule notifications after a device reboot, ensuring daily reminders are not missed.

6. Data Security

All data stored locally on your device is protected by the Android operating system's built-in security mechanisms. Sensitive values (such as user preferences and game state) are stored using FlutterSecureStorage, which encrypts data at rest using Android's Keystore system.

We do not operate our own servers and therefore do not store, process or transmit your personal data to any backend infrastructure. Third-party SDKs (AdMob) operate under their own security and privacy policies as documented by Google.

7. User Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access — you may request information about what data is stored by contacting us.
• Deletion — uninstalling the application removes all locally stored data. For data collected by AdMob, refer to Google's opt-out mechanisms described in Section 3.
• Opt out of personalized ads — as described in Section 3, you may disable personalized advertising through your device settings.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. European users (GDPR): If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, port and erase your data. AdMob relies on consent as the lawful basis for processing your data for personalized advertising. You may grant or withdraw consent at any time through the consent dialog presented on first launch, or by selecting "Privacy Options" in the app's Settings screen. This will re-present the consent form where you can modify your choices.

8. Age Restriction

The app is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data through the app, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements or app functionality. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.

Significant changes will be communicated through the app (via a notice or update dialog). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
